  Basic ZIP support has been implemented and will be available in the next release.

  Hi. I would like to work on this task. It seems to me that there are not a bit of work ant it'll be good to part it into stages, becouse it's not very comfortable to send a lot of code in 1 patch. First of all I want to add option to zip file to archive with same name and extension .zip and extract these files in same way. So can I start work on this issue? With best regards, Evgeniy Berlog.

  Not only RAR but also ZIP. Zip from folder to zip file and unzip from a zip file to a folder or user can choose location (+ create new folder). User could also tap to the zip file to open it and browse its content like normal folder, optionally user can extract a single file from inside. The other compression 7z is added value for you.
